Meet Sadie
We got a dog! Rob came home from school about a week before Thanksgiving with a puppy who showed up on campus that day. She was cute and quiet so we decided she could stay.
The girls named her Sadie and the vet says she is some sort of Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix (don't tell anyone ok?). She has yet to catch her tail though she never tires of trying and she's a pretty good dog when she's not chewing up the girl's socks or underwear.
Birthday Bear is 8
This kid turned 8 a couple months ago. I can hardly believe it.
In honor of the birthday girl, we celebrated with some pizza and games on her big day and then spent some time with family and a few friends over the weekend.

After everyone headed home, the rain began to pour from the sky making a few little girls very wet and very happy!
What a great end to a great day for a great kid!

Halloween 2010
I made it my New Year's resolution to post pictures from Halloween 2010 sometime before Halloween 2011. I don't mean to brag, but I'm way ahead of schedule.
This year we had a princess, unicorn (again) and a clown.

This year was our first year to really trick or treat. I don't know what we've been waiting for. It was great. The girls got lots of good candy to share with me and we had a really fun time seeing our neighbors and just being out in our neighborhood.
