Two Wheelin' Fun

Grace learned to ride the two wheeler this weekend. Saturday night after her bath she told me, "Mom, I'm proud of myself". We are proud of her too.

Gifted and Talented

We learned early on that Sarah is especially talented in the eye rolling department. She can almost make those beautiful brown eyes disappear in her head. Last night she added a new twist when she rolled them back and crossed them at the same time. This picture doesn't really do it justice, but still, I thought it was worthy of sharing. I am sure she will put this skill to good use in her teenage years. I probably won't think it's so funny then.

New Look

This is what happens when you are the low man on the administrative totem pole at a high school...
There was a campus-wide contest to raise money for cancer patients and the grand prize was a chance to give an administrator a new look. In order to achieve the above temporary look, they had to give him this more permanent one first...So, for the next few weeks, I have a blond bombshell of a husband. I think I kind of like it.

Hiking with my Honey

A couple weekends ago Rob and I got to go on a day hike with the Outdoor Adventure Club. We left the girls with a babysitter and enjoyed a day of outdoor activity and beautiful scenery.

Morro Bay

Last weekend we camped with the High School's Outdoor Adventure Club at Morro Bay State Park. It was a great weekend. Here are a few pictures.

Skipping logs in flip flops is not recommended. This is just before she fell, scraped her leg and cried for an hour. Isn't she cute though?

The next day, we went to the beach and Rob took a couple students out for a surfing lesson. He didn't tell them, but he saw his first shark (a little 2 foot Leopard Shark) while he was out. He was pretty excited.

We ended our trip with a visit to the Elephant Seals. It was a great time of year to see them. The females just had their pups, so there were lots of babies and even a couple showdowns between the males.
