Today is all about my husband. Not only is it Father's Day, it is also our 12 year anniversary... and like the song says "We're still havin' fun and He's still the one".
As I was thinking about the beauty and excitement of our wedding day, I remembered one of the highlights of our reception, and thought that after 12 years, it was probably time to set the record straight on this particular event. Scroll down, and as they say around here, I will "splain".

Here we are in our newly wedded bliss preparing to feed each other our first bites of wedding cake. What you don't see here are my best friends and bridesmaids egging me on to smear my new husband with tiramisu wedding cake. Unable to resist the peer pressure, I resolved to dab a bit of frosting on his nose ever so daintily so as not to mess up our carefully prepared wedding faces. As soon as the frosting touched his nose, this is what happened...

Rob totally lost control. Our grandparents were mortified. I think the only thing we both agree on is that we would do it all again!

Fortunately for my new husband, there was a pool close by for a quick clean up. Just in case you are tempted to try this at home, don't! Chlorine and tuxedo pants don't mix. Ninety bucks later, you will be the proud owner of a pair of unwearable penguin pants that you probably didn't want to put on in the first place.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MY LOVE!

I'm still cracking up at the time you wrote in your Xmas letter that you'd been married for 10 years when really it was only 9! I guess being married to Rob is so blissful that time really does fly! And the jumping in the water pic is still my all time favorite! Derek's position cracks me up.....
Dear Rob and Keri,
Just shows you were so meant for each other--Love you lots!
