Last weekend we camped with the High School's Outdoor Adventure Club at Morro Bay State Park. It was a great weekend. Here are a few pictures.

Skipping logs in flip flops is not recommended. This is just before she fell, scraped her leg and cried for an hour. Isn't she cute though?

Sarah and me paddling on the Bay.

I think those turkeys are trying to splash us.

Playing on the sand dunes across the Bay.

Hanging out on the rocks while Daddy and the students look for sea creatures in the tide pools.

The next day, we went to the beach and Rob took a couple students out for a surfing lesson. He didn't tell them, but he saw his first shark (a little 2 foot Leopard Shark) while he was out. He was pretty excited.

We ended our trip with a visit to the Elephant Seals. It was a great time of year to see them. The females just had their pups, so there were lots of babies and even a couple showdowns between the males.

Those seals are always good entertainment! I told Cam about Rob seeing a shark and his eyes got so big. He couldn't wait to tell Ross about it!
Wow, that looks like it was an exciting trip. I forgot all the nice things you have there in California. Those are good memories, even if there were a couple scrapes along the way!
